Dr. Shelley Morgan earned her BSc in Biology & Environmental Science from the University of Western Ontario before completing her Doctor of Pharmacy at SUNY Buffalo. She went on to practice at Chedoke-McMaster Rehabilitation Hospital, supporting Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury programs, before building her career in community pharmacy.
Her daily frustrations managing insurance claims — losing upward of 15 hours a month chasing approvals — led her and pharmacy assistant Nicola Sancho-Persad to create Rx Billing Genie: a practical billing reference tool designed to help pharmacists and technicians bill accurately and efficiently.
On what drives her: "To make the lives of my fellow pharmacists and team members easier."
