A problem lived every day at the counter.
The idea for Rx Billing Genie came from Shelley's frustration as a pharmacist — hours lost every month on hold with insurance companies, time that should have been spent with patients.
Later, while working relief, Shelley discovered a cupboard filled with 30 tubes of medication ordered in error — non-returnable and headed for the garbage. That waste was a hit to the bottom line and a missed chance to help patients.
This inspired Rx MedMatch — a real-time "Have/Need" network for sharing surplus stock, reducing expiry waste, and improving access across all pharmacies.
"I was spending far too much time on the phone with insurance companies — time that should have been spent helping my patients. Working with technicians, I realized we were all losing about 15 hours a month chasing claim approvals. With today's technology, there had to be a faster, more efficient way. Since nothing existed to help pharmacists and technicians bill efficiently, Rx Billing Genie was born."— Shelley Morgan, Founder
We heard the same pain everywhere: stock in the wrong place at the wrong time. Rx MedMatch extends our mission by helping teams post what they HAVE and find what they NEED — so fewer prescriptions stall and fewer boxes expire on the shelf.
